The Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey School program brings together an entire hockey development experience, combining skills -- dynamic skating, creative puck handling, accurate passing, top-shelf shooting -- with off-ice multi-sport strength and conditioning led by the Leafs world class Hockey Development team.

The Maple Leafs are committed to player development on the ice, while off the ice they are committed to growing the game by supporting the development of the next generation of future NHL players.

Growing up on my family's wheat farm in Kelvington, Saskatchewan there wasn't an opportunity to attend hockey schools in my early years of minor hockey. Even the summer hockey camps did not have what the Maple Leafs will have to offer to amateur hockey players this July. Some of my most memorable moments growing up as a kid involved playing some form of hockey during the summer months with other kids that had similar interests and aspirations to me.

Friendships, teamwork, discipline, leadership, memories, and progressive skill training are what participants can experience and what parents can expect at the Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey School.

Parents can rest assured that their kids will be in a great environment where they can learn top-notch skills and improve their game from hockey professionals, but most importantly have fun.

The Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey School is open to novice, atom, and peewee aged boys and girls. Whether your child is just starting to play hockey or whether your child knows the fundamentals, every participant will benefit from the Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey School experience.

I hope to see you and your family out on the ice with us in Summer 2014!
